Can from Germany

Dear Chatterbug-Community,

it’s a great pleasure meeting you all and to be part of something that thrilling and exciting & I can’t wait to get started! But first let me briefly introduce myself…

My name is Can, I’m 21 years old and currently based in a little but very pretty town called Braunschweig in Lower Saxony  I will spend the next couple years finishing my studies here before I can hopefully head back to Japan, the country I somehow deeply fell in love with! Feel free to talk with me about it I’ll never get sick of it, I promise.

To me it’s one of the best feelings to meet new people and to get to learn about each others backgrounds so I’m therefore looking forward to meet you all in front of the camera. Finally I’d like to emphasize that besides being your German-Tutor and conversational partner, I view my role here to be of help for YOU. If there’s ever anything on your mind (especially in these strange times we’re living in right now!) don’t hesitate to approach me. I can be quite a good listener too

Okay that would be all from me so far. Hope to see you guys soon in ‘‘virtual class’’!

Best regards,

Can

@Megan Thank you very much! I’d say my japanese skills served me well enough to get along over there, but there’s as always lots of room for improvement

Hey Can!

@Can-Isaak Hey! Sorry for the lesson which has not happened. I think my problem is a poor internet connection. I hope the next time I will try to figure out this issue.

Thank you for understanding

Hi @Can-Isaak, nice to meet you as. a fellow tutor. I also lived a couple of years in Braunschweig. How do you like it and where are you born?

Hey @Germanlady, its nice to meet you too:) I was actually born in Berlin but moved to Braunschweig when i was basically an infant. So i would refer to Braunschweig as my hometown pretty much. I hope you just had as much fun here as i have, since i believe its a great town with very humble people. Would love to hear from your experience! Greetings from Braunschweig!

Hi @Can-Isaak, nice to hear from you and that you like Braunschweig. I kind of liked it too, it was a “big” city for me since I was born in Wolfsburg :joy:
But after having 20 years time to adapt to the people in Berlin, I like it better here
Tschüssi , Melanie
PS:…will you go to the Karneval this year, or is it cancelled due to corona?
