Hi everyone, nice to meet you!

I will take a break from tutoring from November - December, as I will have to spend more time on my other job for the Christmas season (eCommerce selling Xmas clothes )

My name is Isabell, I’m originally from a small town in Bavaria and I’ve called Bali home for the past 6 years. Other than German, I speak English, some rusty French and Bahasa Indonesia (in progress).
When I was 19 I decided to do my first overseas trip by myself and ended up going to Indonesia, where I not only fell in love with the country but also with a man… you know the drill.
At that time remote work wasn’t such a big thing yet, so I had to figure out another way to finance myself abroad: Winter seasons in Switzerland! And that’s what I’ve done for four years. 4 months hard work in the Swiss mountains, 7-8 months island life with some small online jobs.
Fast forward to 2019, I finally got my first full-time remote jobs and haven’t really left Bali ever since.
I love to spend my free time with surfing, coffee, our dogs, music, cooking, being creative and making friends with people from all over the world. My boyfriend and I have a big passion for animals and made it our mission to help as many street dogs as we can here in Bali.
I would love to support you on your language study journey and show you that it is indeed possible to learn German. It might be a complex and difficult language, however, once you notice your first progresses you will see what a beautiful and diverse language it is!
I’m really looking forward to meeting you!
Sunny greeting from the island
