Hello Everyone!,

My name is JoAnn, and have been an English tutor on Chatterbug since January 2021! :blush:
I am a full-time student at Heidelberg University, in Germany, studying Religious Studies and Anthropology. Coming from a small town in Texas, I always wanted to learn another language fluently and took the opportunity to pursue my higher education in German. Currently, I speak English (Mother tongue), German (C1) and Spanish (still under construction :construction_worker_woman:t5:).

Learning another language is so rewarding! I have tutored English for over two years and love teaching and interacting with people from all over the world. :world_map: When I’m not tutoring I like to read, watch movies and explore the hidden gems in my area (check down below to see my discoveries!) :national_park:

welcome to the team ! I live in Mexico now, but I am from a small town only 30 minutes away from Heidelberg. I studied Ethnology and ‘Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ at Uni Heidelberg. In April or May I’ll be back home. We should meet then :slightly_smiling_face:
