Linn from Cologne in Germany

Hi, Iā€™m Linn from Cologne in Germany! :sun_with_face:

For the past two years, I have been living in Siargao - a small, remote island in the Philippines, where I spent most of my days surfing.
In Siargao I cofounded a charity project to support the local families and kids during the pandemic. As many of them are suffering due to the loss of tourism, we offer financial and educational support to those in need. :bouquet:

Whilst I was teaching the kids on the island, I rediscovered my passion for languages and tutoring, which is why I started working with Chatterbug in January.
It has been such an amazing experience meeting over 70 people from all over the world and teaching 200+ Live Lessons; I cannot wait to meet more of you and to be a part of your german learning journey. :woman_teacher:t2:

After living in my tropical paradise for two years, I just moved back to Germany where Iā€™m going to start university in October. Whilst missing my island home every day, I am more than excited to be teaching with a reliable internet and electric connection from now on.

Besides my mother tongue German, I speak English and a little Spanish and Italian (which I should be practicing more) and Iā€™m currently learning Siargaonon, which is the local dialect on the island.
Which languages do you speak? And what is your motivation to learn German? :de:

I would love to hear from you and hope to meet you very soon in a Live Session!
Best,

Linn :star_struck:

Hi Linn, good to know there are more chatterbug teachers around in the Philippines. If you ever come to Cebu, pass by.
