Hi there, language learners!

I quick update to my profile since a lot has happened since July 2020 when I started at Chatterbug.

I’ve been on the platform for around two years with some breaks in between (to write my Master’s thesis). I’m originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but I now live in Stuttgart, Germany. Since September 2022, I hold a Master’s degree in English Linguistics from the University of Tübingen. I love languages and I speak German, Spanish, and French fluently and I have been learning Russian for the past year and a half (it’s a tricky one!).

You should book me for a lesson if you want a tutor who will give you lots of space to speak, and who will keep an ear out for your recurring mistakes. Having taught English for nearly 10 years, I have heard English learners of every level speak, so don’t be afraid or embarrassed to say something wrong or silly-- that’s why you’re here!

I like to tutor first thing in the morning at 8am (GMT+1) with a cup of coffee in my hand. Hope to see you there :slight_smile:

Hey Zoe, nice to read your intro! Sounds you’ve had an interesting journey with language learning and teaching. I’m interested to know, where are you studying your Master’s in English linguistics?

Hallo Zoe,
I hope to see you in our live lesson on Friday. My level is A2. I study at chatterbug since January 2021 and leave school in 1990. You are in Tübingen. I have heard that you can get a one day negative corona pass for shopping and eating in a restaurant. This is amazing! I hope it works good.
