Hello, my name is Elizabeth and I’m an armchair language enthusiast.

In school languages were my worst subject, but as an adult I’ve discovered an interest in finally learning another language. It’s a dream of mine to be able to read some of the classics of world literature without the use of translation, but for now I’ll satisfy myself with a “guten Tag” or a “bonjour” that doesn’t send native speakers running.
