All you need is love

This month in many countries, on the 14th of February, people will celebrate Valentine’s Day :sparkling_heart:. As we know, the language of love involves many cute words. For example, what is the word you use the most with your partner? Sweetie? Babe? Honey? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Well, in Spanish we would usually say cariño, bebé, and miel :honey_pot:. hehe Bad joke sorry  we surely don’t call our partners miel, but here are some words that we do use:

  • Mi vida
  • Corazón
  • (Mi) amor
  • Amorcito/a
  • Bebé
  • Lindo/a
  • Mi cielo
  • Precioso/a
  • Gordito/a

Do you know more words in Spanish that are related to the topic of love? :two_hearts:

¿Cómo le dices a tu pareja de cariño en tu idioma? :heartpulse:

For German people it’s very common to give our partners the name of animals, such as “Häschen (bunny)” and so on.
Here I tried it with “Cuycita” (little guinea pig), but my wife was not so happy with that. A good example for a cultural clash jajajajaja
