Hi Everyone!

***My schedule is the next fews weeks will have less hours and I am in the UK from April 10th -26th :slight_smile:

My name is Amy, I am English :uk:, currently living in Vancouver in Canada! :canada:

Before moving to Canada I was living in London, and now I have been in Vancouver for four and half years. Vancouver is extremely beautiful as it’s surrounded by incredible lakes and mountains :sunrise_over_mountains:which bring me joy every time I look out of my window!

I love to go hiking and skiing in the winter. I have started cold swimming in the sea in winter time (and in Canada is gets pretty cold!) and I have become a keen follower of the Wim Hof technique, which If you haven’t tried I highly recommend it! I also love to meditate and move, whether it’s going to the gym, yoga or a dance class :dancer: I also love to travel, last year I visited Italy and Spain, and I travelled to Mexico this year. I love to watch films, read, listen to podcasts and socialise with friends.

I am currently learning Spanish and my partner is from Mexico :mexico: It’s great to have an in house tutor! When I was in school I found learning languages a challenge (and school generally challenging at times haha), as an adult I have a new found love of learning and although it still can be challenging, it can also be a joyful experience when you are patient with yourself and give yourself kudos for just turning up and trying! :raised_hands:

I live on the Atlantic coast in France and love swimming in the ocean in winter too… but I assume the sea in Vancouver is much colder :cold_face: ! Hats off :sweat_smile: !
