¡Hola @jelman!
To improve my comprehension, I listen to a lot of Spanish music !
I like Calle 13, Jarabe de Palo, Jorge Drexler for example.
I created a playlist with all the songs I like. I listen to them very often and, I have to say, it is very rewarding to see I understand more and more !
Eso!!!
“Por ti, todo lo que hago lo hago por ti
Es que tú me sacas lo mejor de mí
Soy todo lo que soy
Porque tú eres todo lo que quiero”
Hola, @jelman Julia
Here I would like to share with you some links and ideas that could help you.
I’ve been learning different languages for a while and like you, I also love music in order to learn. This page has the music and an activity with it, you just need to choose a level, and then you need to complete the song’s lyrics.
By the way, @Leocadie’s recommendations are awesome . I would like to add these as well: Monsieur Periné, Julieta Venegas, Soda Stereo, Juan Pablo Vega, Oh’laville. (Some of them have French names, but they sing in Spanish ).
About Podcasts, here is a Chatterbug article with some podcasts recommendations that could help you.
Last but not least, here is a YouTube Channel with easy recipes, it’s entertaining and short just in case you would like to give it a try .
Espero estas recomendaciones te ayuden mucho .
Hola @jelman !!
I’m making a list of content that can be useful to improve audio comprehension, so I’ll be sharing things
As about podcasts, Spanish Coffee Break is a very popular one, very useful and enjoyable podcast for Spanish learners! You can find it on Spotify.
Here another useful podcast “Learn Spanish Daily Podcast”: https://open.spotify.com/show/1puKUN2oF1M5DMt8o4M1bA?si=80bcf7a844d24dda
Some short films also come to my mind, maybe a more enjoyable way to learn Spanish:
Students who have been with me in a live lesson will know that I constantly say VALE (ok) and a few years ago the beer brand Estrella Damm made this short film with Dakota Johnson, very nice titled Vale I love it! (and it’s subtitled)
On Netflix you can also find short series in Spanish with subtitles like “El tiempo que te doy” (I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve heard it’s really good).
Another series I love is Valeria (on netflix), it takes place in Madrid.
As for Youtube channels, there are many that can be useful but it would be interesting if they have subtitles. There is a channel that I enjoy a lot about cooking and most of the videos have Spanish subtitles:

this other one is also very good, it is about traveling:

I´ll be posting more things …
Espero que te gusten mis recomendaciones!
if there is a topic you like, for example, art, history, cooking, etc. we can look for specific content.
Adiós!!
Some of my favourite Spanish language songs are:
Hasta la Raíz - Natalia Lafourcade - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKmPci5VXz0
Viejo Refranero - IDOIA - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_peZM0Lq5Kc
Quien Manda - Mala Rodríguez - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afFnP1OSQ7I
Oso Blanco - IZARO - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8-lnEUT6C8
¡Que disfrutes!
Oh! And here is a hilarious video that I have watched too many times to admit because it’s hilarious!
@jelman Can you follow all the words? Can you identify the different accents?
Hola Julia!
