BSR ( Berliner Stadtreinigung ) challenge

People in Berlin love puns ( das/die Wortspiel(e) ). Esp.the BSR ( Berliner Stadtreinigung / Berlin city cleaning service ).
A friend sent me this picture from a garbage truck:

This is a pun, because it can either mean “waste removal” ( Müllabfuhr ), but it can also mean " to rebuff sb./ to turn sb. down."
Have you seen anything like that here in Berlin too? :thinking:

This is really funny! I am from Cologne, I haven’t seen them on garbage trucks, but the other day I saw puns on the public trash bins. I can’t remember them anymore, but they definitely didn’t work as well as this one :wink: Thanks for sharing @Germanlady , I will take a picture when I pass those trash bins again!

Es gibt mehrere hier in Berlin! Vielleicht mein lieblingswortspiel von der BSR war “we kehr for you”. Ich habe irgendwo eine Sammlung davon. Hast Du mal die Werbung von irgendeine Radiosender (60er-80er) “everybody hoerts” gesehen?

Hi @MissAmanda, yes “we kehr for you” is funny too :joy: and no I don’t know this Radioshow :wink:
Translation for none German speakers: everybody hears it ( hören ) and not hurts and “kehren” to sweep instead of “care”
