German-English Dictionary Recommendation

I probably should have gotten one a long time ago, but I’m ready to finally buy myself a German-English dictionary. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Wörterbuch?

Hey @stefilios
Langenscheidt is one of the most common and (in my opinion) one of the best dictionaries. Here you can have a look at it:

Hi  @stefilios I’ve always used PONS online while learning German. I find it one of the most precise of all. They have one that is called: PONS Wörterbuch Englisch → Deutsch Premium / PONS Premium English → German Dictionary (English). By the way, the one that @SKrausser mentioned above is as well one of my favorites.

I can second PONS, it is excellent.
Another online one that is great for revision is Reverso (it also translates in context)!

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I looked at PONS and the hardcover book on Amazon costs…$978.00?! Haha, I’ll use PONS for when I need something online  I just ordered a copy of Langenscheidt, can’t wait to see it in person!

Hi @stefilios what a price :scream: The one I told you about it was 19.99 Euros when I checked and there are others not that expensive :see_no_evil:. But Langenscheidt is definitely a good one :hugs:.
