Learning a language isn’t always easy, and sometimes we just don’t have it in us to sit down and learn vocabulary (and that’s okay). But it doesn’t have to feel like hard work all the time! 
When we listen to songs, we naturally absorb the pronunciation, rhythm, and structure of a language. It helps us to remember words and phrases without even trying. Plus, singing along is a great way to practise speaking - no pressure, just you and the music.
That’s why I’ve put together a playlist with German songs to help you learn while you listen. It’s a mix of all kinds of genres, so hopefully there’s something for everyone. You will find that, while German sometimes gets the reputation of sounding a bit serious or cold, music shows a completely different side: poetic, emotional, and even funny.
The playlist is available on Spotify (unfortunately only there for now, because I don’t have other platforms). I encourage you to use the built-in lyrics function, which can be a huge help. Some lyrics fly by pretty quickly, especially at first, so don’t worry if you can’t catch everything right away. Just vibe along and let it grow on you
