Dear Students, first, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your bookings; they are your biggest compliment!
However, if possible, please consider the time difference to Mexico (7-8 hours for most European cities) and book me at least 15 hours in advance so I have the opportunity to accept your booking requests on time. I can’t accept bookings that are requested in the middle of the night in my time zone for the upcoming day. Thank you for your understanding and preference.
UPDATE:
Don’t miss out on my article in our Chatterbug Community Forum, Category “Random”, about why you should eat Ice Cream here in my new Hometown!

Why you should eat Ice Cream in SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - The “Heart of Mexico”
Hallo, hello, hola! I’m Heidi from Hamburg, Germany, and have been living since the end of 2021 in the gorgeous city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
I’m a go-getter, so 20 years ago I decided to live my dream in Mexico (the first 16 years in Playa del Carmen) and have never regretted it since. Of course, I still have friends in Europe (and family in South Africa!), but most of my folks are right here with me, along with my cuddly kitty “Cookie”.
My mother tongue is German , but I’m also fluent in English
and Spanish
. I have tons of work experience in the tourism industry, customer service, real estate, organization, and administration, but also in teaching, and it’s so much more fun to teach my beautiful language and have a great time with students than to be sitting at an office desk.
Therefore, since April 2021, I’ve been back to teaching German “full-time”, and am looking forward to meeting you!
Students usually define me as a person with a great sense of humor and love my lessons, probably because I’m as well quite creative: I have also been freelance-writing (in English, actually) for a Luxury Wedding Blog, and am on Spotify with my former Rockband “Red Ceiba”, original music, of course (with the personal artist name “Aitana”).
In early 2023, I decided to enter the local community theater “OGTS” (Original Grupo de Teatro del Sindicato), and although I didn’t join every single show, the ones I participated in have been very interesting, mostly hilarious and partially quite challenging performances, especially my recent participation as “Lady Olivia” in “Que Sea Como Quieras”, based on Shakespeare’s “12th Night”. Here is some footage of “La Boda 1+2”, “Homicidium in Tenebris” (“Sor Insana”), and as “Lady O.”:
As if all that weren’t enough yet, I also added a new Print-On-Demand business to my plate, which I only just have started and is going accordingly to my overall teaching-acting-singing-etc.-agenda. LOL. Feel free to check it out at www.groovyoutfits.com! Maybe you even find a goodie for yourself or friends/family, who knows?
And I’m looking forward to the nice new surprises the universe has in store for me.
So much about me, for the moment; what’s your story? Learn to tell me in German!
Bis bald, cheers, hasta pronto!
Heidi
