Why you should eat Ice Cream in SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - The “Heart of Mexico”
Hallo, hello, hola! I’m Heidi from Hamburg, Germany, and am living since the end of 2021 in the gorgeous city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
I’m a go-getter, so 17 years ago I decided to live my dream in Mexico (the earlier 16 years in Playa del Carmen) and have never regretted it since. Of course, I still have friends in Europe, but most of my folks are right here with me, along with my 2 cuddly kitties.
In addition, I’m living proof that you can find true love also in your late forties - or at any age, really. Because just ONE day after arriving to my new hometown, I met my partner Sergio.
My mother tongue is German , but I’m also fluent in English and Spanish . I have tons of work experience in the tourism industry, customer service, real estate, organization, and administration, but also in teaching, and it’s so much more fun to teach my beautiful language and have a great time with students than to be sitting at an office desk. Therefore, since last year I’m back to teaching German “full-time”, looking forward to meeting you!
Students usually define me as a person with a great sense of humor and love my lessons, probably because I’m as well quite creative: I have also been freelance-writing (in English, actually) for a Luxury Wedding Blog, and am on Spotify with my former Rockband “Red Ceiba”, original music, of course (with the personal artist name “Aitana”).
Since the end of 2019, I’m taking my life a bit more relaxed, left the stage, and went into Energy Healing; end of June 2021 I successfully finished my diploma as “Angelic Therapist” which is quite amazing, although so far I only practice it for myself or close friends.
And I’m looking forward to the nice new surprises the universe has in store for me.
So much about me, for the moment; what’s your story? Learn to tell me in German!
Bis bald, cheers, hasta pronto!
