How much do I need to study?

It’s entirely up to you, but of course, the more you study, the faster you get better.

From the get go, we ask you to set your goals from your Homepage so Chatterbug can help you track your performance. We’ll tell you how much self study you need to do every week and how many live lessons you should take in order to meet your goal.

If you don’t want a specific timeline, then spending about 2 hours a week in self study and 2 Live Lessons per week–a total of 3.5 hours per week–will typically get you from a complete novice to CEFR’s A1 level (basic communication skills) in about 5 to 6 months. Going from A1 to A2 (routine conversations) would take a similar amount of time.

It’s also better to study everyday a bit (15-20 minutes) instead of studying once a week two hours. :muscle:t4:
