In Colombia we use a lot “estar maluco/a”.
Hoy me desperté maluca/Me siento maluca.
And when the case is like super extreme, we say: “me dio la pálida” o “A Juanita le dio la pálida”
In addition to what @Lari1108 mentioned:
No me siento bien
Algo me pasa

If you are not really ill, but just a bit weak (maybe due to a cold or something similar) we say “Me siento debiluchito”.

I recently had a very funny misunderstanding with a friend. We had a whatsapp conversation somehow like this:

Yo: Cómo estás, Franzi? Y cómo está David y Amelia? (her husband and daughter)
Mi amiga: Yo bien, David un poco constipado.
Yo: Mhh ok, gracias por oversharing. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
Dos días después…
Yo: Lo siento, Franzi, es que no sabía que en España “constipado” significa “enfermo”, en Argentina eso decimos cuando alguien no puede ir al baño hace muchos días.

So watch out! :eyes:

HI shia
In Spain it is also said:
Estoy mala
Me he puesto mala…( “Mala” is not in the meaning of bad person but it can also mean in another context )
You can also add “Me he puesto mala de un día para otro”. ( from one day to another )

Regards
