Hi! I’m Lia, half Austrian, half German and I grew up in the beautiful Alps of Austria.
After an exciting time living and studying in Milan, I’m back in Austria to finish my master’s degree.
I’ve lived in almost every federal state in Austria – which means I’ve picked up some of the country’s funniest and most charming dialects! But don’t worry – I speak clear, accent-free standard German since my mother is from Germany

Beside my interest of languages and cultures, I’m also really passionate about baking, painting, gardening and traveling.

I know from personal experience how challenging it can be to move to a new country without speaking the language. That’s why I place a strong focus on patience, empathy, and seeing things from the learner’s perspective in my teaching.
Creating a relaxed and encouraging learning atmosphere is very important to me. I believe humor and lightness are key to making progress. You set the pace, and you’re welcome to ask any questions or make requests at any time without any pressure.
I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey to learning German!
Best, Lia

I was already wondering, but don’t worry. I hope you’re having an amazing time in Amsterdam, enjoy! See you soon, Lia
Ich besuche meine Familie und Freunde in England. I didn’t realise I had to change the Chatterbug time zone, I thought it was automatic. I really enjoyed our first lesson and was looking forward to our second. Mi dispiace.

. I won’t be able to make it, I’ll be travelling. Really sorry, I was rushing. I’d love it if you could cancel so I don’t lose credit. No problem if not though, it’s my own fault. Have a great rest of the week and weekend. LG, Alan
