Live Session Problems

Who do I need to contact regarding problems? This was my first live session. I think I followed all the requirements for using the correct browser and on a laptop not ipad or mobile phone. My audio never worked and I was never given the option to actually start the session. My tutor suggested that I log out of the session and try a different browser. I did this and was presented with the same problem plus I had no access to the messaging with the tutor. I logged out again and went back to the original browser by which time she had left. Now I don’t know who to contact or what to try. Please help.

I was using Chromium. Just downloaded firefox and rescheduled live session for two days from now. Is there a way to test audio/visual prior to live session so I can make sure everything is working beforehand?

Hi @mat849, like Megan said, you can always reach us via the chat box. And about your not being able to start the session yesterday, it sounds a lot like a browser setting issue. Basically your browser did not grant Chatterbug permission to use your webcam or microphone, which results in the lesson not starting. Check out how to change the settings here: https://help.chatterbug.com/l/en/article/nl2f2fytec-live-lesson-issue. It’s pretty easy to do and once you’ve updated your settings, you can follow this link (https://chatterbug.com/chat/check) to test your device before your next lesson :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @mat849, unfortunately, yesterday we couldn’t have our lesson. I just wanted to let you know that I didn’t leave. The system lets me stay in the chat room only for ten minutes and after that, I can’t come back. I’m glad to hear the issue was solved. Hope you have fun and learn lots in your first lesson :smiley: .
