Hin und weg sein
In German, if you’re ‘hin und weg’, then you’re head over heels in love with someone. Or alternatively, something: like your new PS5 :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::joy:⁣
⁣Beispiel: “Ich war wirklich hin und weg, als ich meine Tochter das erste Mal sah.” (“I was totally towards and away when I saw my daughter for the first time.”)⁣

Wie witzig! Ich kannte “hin und weg sein” vorher nicht. :blush:
Eine meiner liebsten Redewendungen ist “Liebe geht durch den Magen” (The way to a person’s heart is through their stomach.). Spricht definitiv für mich die Wahrheit! :yum: :fork_and_knife:

Ich kenne noch “Was sich liebt, das neckt sich” (teasing is a sign of affection) oder “bis über beide Ohren verliebt sein” (head over heels in love).
