Hallo! 
My name is Sarah. I am 34 years old and was born and raised in Germany. I have been living in ConcepciĆ³n, Chile since 2005.
I speak German, Spanish and English. At school, I also learned French and Latin. I have always enjoyed learning languages- I think that speaking another language really helps you understand different ways of thinking.
After finishing school, I decided to spend a year working as a volunteer in a social project in Chile. I had started to learn Spanish before I arrived here, but having to understand and speak Chilean Spanish 24/7 was complicated in the beginning! I really enjoyed my time as a volunteer and decided to return and study in ConcepciĆ³n.
I am a social worker and am currently finishing an additional degree as an art-therapist. I worked as an English teacher for a private language school here in ConcepciĆ³n for several years. In addition, I have been teaching private English, German and Spanish lessons since 2012. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you here
