Summer Reading!

Hi everyone!,

The weather in my town has finally gotten more stable and the feeling of summer is back! :imma_star:
This summer break will be spent relaxing and reading good books! :open_book:

:catbee: Below I have listed some books (English and German C1) I found to keep me busy until I return to Chatterbug.

Here are other discussions to find some English books for beginners and a thread on reading in German.

:face_with_monocle: Do you have any summer books or all-time favorites you can suggest?

:one: Naked Masks: Five Plays By Luigi Pirandello

:two: Der Himmel vor Hundert Jahren: Yulia Marfutova

:three: The Art of Dying: Peter Fenwick and Elizabeth Fenwick

:four: The Truth About Modern Slavery: Emily Kenway

Hello and happy summer!

These books look great! As I am currently learning German, and therefore busy working my way through some β€œKlasse 3” kids books! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: One is never too old to read fairytales! :hear_no_evil:

A couple of English books I would recommend for B2+ students:

  1. A man called Ove. Fredrik Backman
  2. All the light we cannot see. Anthony Doerr
  3. I am Malala. Christina Lamb & Malala Yousafzai

Happy reading! :star_struck:
