Hola from Mexico 
My name is Verena, I am 28 years old and I am from Germany. Since 2019 I am living in Mexico City and absolutely love it.
In highschool I had the opportunity to do a school exchange in Venezuela for a year, where I learned Spanish, got to meet many people, learn about the culture and basically fell in love with Latin America. After that I always looked for possibilities to go back to Latin America, which is why I also lived some time in Ecuador and Colombia, doing interships and traveling. I always felt at home in Latin America and it was clear to me that after graduating, I would like to live in some Latin American country. In 2019 I was about to finish my Masters degree in Business and Development Studies in Copenhagen, and I decided to look for opportunities to write my Master thesis in another country. Luckily, I found an internship in Mexico and after graduating last year decided to stay and start working here 
So I always loved to travel, see new places, learn about different cultures and languages and meet new people. I speak German, English and Spanish and I am very happy to be part of the Chatterbug community.

I lived for one year in Quito, I really enjoyed it. Mexico City is much bigger, which is sometimes a bit stressful, many people, a lot of traffic. But the city has a lot to offer, many parks, museums, restaurants etc.
You live in Ecuador ?

Yes, I live about 200 kilometers south of Quito near Riobamba. Quito is for me already too stressful, I prefer living in a little remote village in the mountains
