Salut!
As a French tutor I am super curious to find out what the students struggle with most! Is it sentence structure, pronunciation or maybe grammar? I’d love to have your feedback on this, dear community.
Salutations, Clara

By far the most difficult thing for me is understanding spoken French unless it’s spoken very slowly. However, I am improving with practice.
Conversation, podcasts and movies are the way to go! Accents are hard to figure out even for native speakers so give yourself time
That’s so true @carol_tift People will always speak very quickly when they are using their native language. I also have this problem when I hear German speakers (because I’m learning German :p)
A suggestion maybe - try to listen to speeches from politians or members of the French Government. They must not talk too slowly nor too quickly. Maybe this can help
@ClaraVC is also right - podcasts, songs and movies (arnacoeur is a very good one - funny, romantic)
Totally agree! I can easily read french but struggle most with understanding it when spoken…
hey! je m´apelle Constanza, je suis tutrice pour les apprenants d´espangol. J´ai des difficultés avec les verbes avec prépositions, le partitif et les accents!
Merci pour ta réponse @Consti! Je vais essayer de créer des posts sur ces sujets alors, c’est vrai que ce n’est pas facile !
