#correction

Hallo Leute,

ich habe heute die Erlaubnis bekommen Home Office (wir arbeiten von zu Hause auf Englisch :stuck_out_tongue: ) zu machen. Natürlich habe ich mir heute Abend gedacht… wie könnte ich diese Gelegenheit besser feiern/nutzen als einen Post über den Coronawortschatz zu schreiben?

Ich habe in den Nachrichten gemerkt, dass Virus und Coronavirus andere Artikel haben, aber ich bin mir nicht so sicher.

Der Coronavirus?

Pandemie
infinzieren
anstecken
Quarantäne
Impfung

Es gibt heutzutage bestimmt viele gute medizinische Begriffe im Alltag. Habt ihr ein gutes Wort vorzuschlagen?

Jetzt dauert Corona auch schon mehr als ein Jahr.

“Ausgangssperre”


…maybe we had that term already?..and maybe the joke is a bit expensive in German I would say “Galgenhumor”
…but I thought it’s funny :joy:

“Ausgangsperre” = curfew, ban on going out
“endlich vorbei” = finally over
“Galgenhumor” = grim sense of humor

To avoid confusion for German learners, it’s maybe worth mentioning that this is only the figurative sense, if you want to talk about literal guinea pigs, the animal is called “Meerschweinchen” :wink:

Thanks @ameliea, I was just thinking the same…that I should specify the term that is :wink:
“Versuchskaninchen” Guinea pig refers only to laboratory animals ( Versuchstiere ).
Is there, by the way a different term for “Versuchskaninchen” in Bavaria?
